My weekend

This weekend is the 30 hour famine!! It is where we come to school and we can't eat for 30 hours!!
We can not eat until 4:00 Saturday afternoon. We fund raise for the children in Africa! The 30 hour famine is for all the grade eights that are eligible to go in it! Chloe, Candace, Allison and I are the organizers for the whole thing!! We got to organize where all the money is going to, and we got to organize all the chaperons and everything! We stay inside for lunch recess and call all the parents to see if they can come! Yesterday Chloe, Candace, Allison and I went to the Co-op and gathered 12 big juice containers. 300 cups, 100 spoons, 6 boxes of rices and 2 bottles of soya sauce. On Friday the 13 we get a hot breakfast, then we can't eat any more!

Write a story in which the main character accidentally sends a text message that was meant for another person.

The day that Alli Cooper came back to town was a night mare.
Marissa and I were sitting on the boating dock when she walked up behind us and said,

"Hi girls, I bet that you are excited to see me!"

Marissa whispered in my ear

"Oh my god, is that her?"

The next day I got a text message that read,

I seen Moore and Jakeobson yesterday I don't think that they were happy to see me...
I am going to make their lives horrible!
They are going to wish that they were never alive!

As soon as I read the message I called Marissa and told her what I had read.
She laughed and we went down to the beach and talked about how Alli was planning on ruining our lives.

We thought that it was all quite halarious until we got to school on Monday and seen Alli sitting by the office, laughing at us as we walked in.

It turns out that Alli was moving back to our school and not just visiting.

Our life was really being ruined.

Being Outcasted...

Outcasted

Being outcasted is like a jet black wall.
It tastes like blood from your bleeding finger.
It smells like rotten tomato's in the baking sun.
And reminds me of a dying rose.
It sounds like a faint cry for help on a windless day.
Being outcassted makes me feel like I am alone dying in a corner.

"I don't know," she said. "What is the capital of Canada?"

"Is it........... Ottawa?" Margret replied.

"Correct!" yelled Mr. Oldcorn.

"The capital is Ottawa?" asked an American boy.

"Yes it is!" said Mr. O.

I bet you are wondering what is going on right now... right? Well, all the students in grade eight, all over the world are being united to answer questions about the places where they live. Marissa is the smartest in her eighth grade class. Candace is on the other end of the list; she is good at everything but history and stuff about the world.

"Meaghan... Meaghan... Are you listening to me?"

" Yes Yes I am, sorry."

"Where are polar bears found in Manitoba?" Mr. O asked.

"Uhhh ummm..... Churchhill?" she stuttered.

"Yoo CORRECT!!!" Mr. O bellered!

"Yess!!" Meaghan shreeked!

Turns out Marissa and Meaghan tied. They didn't have time to break the tie, so they shared the money!

Candace was off to her boyfriend Marc's house, and Marissa was off to her boyfriend Kyle's house so Meaghan went to read books to the elderly people at the Sherwood.
